Q: What happens if I take too many greens?
A:  Everyone is different but the greens are all whole foods- so you can ingest as much as you personally want to and you should be fine. The Organic Kamut Blend and the Barley Green juice are not drugs or isolated vitamins but rather a whole food extract made from freshly squeezed, organic Kamut (wheat) grass and alfalfa and barley greens, oat grass and alfalfa. It is unlikely that you would ever overdose on these products anymore than you would overdose on green salads. Acne on the face and body, diarrhea, or constipation may occur if you start off with too much, too soon or if you do not drink enough water to flush it through your system- but these are rare occurrences.

Q: Should I put the greens in the fridge?
A:  NO, you should put them in a cool, dry place (like a pantry or cupboard) because the moisture in the refrigerator will cause it to clump. Though it is perfectly fine to keep them stored in the freezer.

Q: Which is better, the Barley Green Juice or the Organic Kamut Blend?
A:  It depends on personal preference; they both have basically the same exact nutritional makeup. The difference is the Organic Barley Green Juice is one individual ingredient while the Organic Kamut Blend contains Organic Alfalfa, Organic Oat grass, as well as Chlorozyme™ (a specially formulated patented enzyme complex that increases the uptake of vital nutrients found in foods).

A:  They are both great products, so it is hard to say which one is "better"- everyone is different and therefore everyone has different needs. Q: What is the main difference between Chlorella and Spirulina?

Q: Why are the greens better to be taken on an empty stomach?
A:  So they can assimilate into the blood stream better.

Q: Can I make up a large amount of Green Kamut and keep it in the refrigerator?
A:  No, this is not advised. Active nutrients are released when Green Kamut is mixed with the liquids and should optimally be taken within 10-15 minutes after preparation. The maximum “pre-made time” is 2 hours. The active nutrients begin to oxidize and degrade when they are no longer in their dry [protective] state.

Q: Should a person be concerned about getting too much iron when taking large amounts of the green juices?
A:  Not in the case of the Organic Kamut, Organic Barley Green Juice, or Cracked-Cell Chlorella, there is actually not very much iron in the green juices; our body just uses the iron that is in them very efficiently. Spirulina on the other hand has lots of iron in it, so it is the one to go to when you are anemic but not if you have too much iron in your diet already.

Q: Is Green Kamut okay for children?
A:  Yes. However, we suggest that you give young children and infants a reduced serving size in proportion to their body weight. Optimally, you may wish to instead start your babies off with the Organic Barley Green Juice™ instead since it is comprised of a single ingredient and the alfalfa contained in the Organic Kamut Blend™ may cause children to gain an allergy to legumes. For children 10 years or older, a regular serving size is fine since, even though they weigh less than adults their metabolism is generally higher.

Q: Does the wheat in Green Kamut contain gluten?
A:  No, the powdered juice is taken from the wheat GRASS and not the wheat grain. The grass, unlike the grain, does not contain gluten. None of the ingredients in Green Kamut contain gluten so it is safe for people who are sensitive to it

Q: Where are the greens for the Kamut blend grown and what type of water is used?
A:  The Kamut, alfalfa, and oat are grown on a farm in Southern Utah. They are grown on a volcanic bed and hydrated by well water.

Q: I have been drinking the barley green juice for three years and this time it is lighter and tastes different.  Are you using a different supplier or formula?
A:  The barley seed in the winter is different from the seeds at other times of the year.  In addition, the sun is in a different position so the powder may appear less green but still holds the same nutritional value as other times of the year.  

Q: Is it okay to give More Greens to an older person with high blood pressure since ginseng is known to be incompatible with hypertension?
A:  Sometimes the red ginseng has an affect on high blood pressure; however, our product has a small amount of white ginseng so More Greens do not have enough ginseng to have a negative affect on high blood pressure patients.

Q: Hello David, My daughter just had beautiful twin girls in July. She is no longer able to breastfeed (long story) and I was wondering when I could give them green food? I would need to put it into a bottle. They are now 10lb 7oz and 11lb 2oz.

Q: Is the Daily Fiber Blend gluten free? If so, what does someone with a gluten allergy do for fiber?

Q: Do you know any methods to get rid of warts?

Q: How do I know if the heavy metals are coming out of my body?
A:  You can do a hair test by testing a strand of hair for heavy metals and then shave a small patch on your arm- when the new hair grows in, test it the same way. You could also ask your doctor about doing a fecal test.

Q: Why is the cherry darker now and in a different bottle?
A:  This is because we have changed suppliers. We used to get our product from a supplier in Michigan. We now go to the Michigan’s supplier in Washington State to get our cherries directly. Due to the colder weather and the snowfall, the cherries have changed in color and taste. This does not mean we are providing a lesser product! Crops vary and therefore the product is naturally going to be different one state to the next. It is actually now nutritionally superior and has a higher, more consistent ORAC value according to our testing. The reason it is not in the same type of bottle anymore is due to customer complaints about the aluminum that we used to use (even though we did use a food grade plastic to line the former bottle) so we have switched to glass. We are also happier with our current supplier because they are consistently in stock with the product whereas the Michigan supplier frequently was out of stock, which forced us to put items on backorder, therefore disrupting our business and inconveniencing our customers.

Q: Will my products be irradiated during the shipping process?
A:  NO!! This is just a rumor that needs to be put to rest. We have been assured unequivocally that Fed Ex does not radiate their packages and in fact to do so would cost them millions and millions of dollars. There is no proof or reason to think that they do radiate the packages that they ship unless it is being sent to a government official.

Q: Why don’t you carry the larger sizes of your skincare line anymore?
